Jam Making - dates are booking up!!!
*We have moved our February Jam Making class to Sunday the 3rd March and we potentially have a couple of spaces left so please email us asap if you'd like to join or we can add you to our reserve list.*
A great gift for you or someone you love and a fabulous Team Building Day too - If you're passionate about preserves, curious about chutney, have been meaning to make marmalade or on the hunt for something hot then join us for a day of preserving and we'll help you create deliciousness in our working kitchen in Chepstow.
If you grow your own and have a freezer full of this years glut, a passion to make something unique, or are just plain curious - all are very welcome, you choose what you want to make.
As a group of 6, you will all make and take home your own preserves to impress friends and family.
We'll have tea & coffee on arrival and a light lunch (local bread, cheeses & scones ) that we'll add to with your own made chutneys and preserves.
All you need to bring is your chosen fruit or vegetables (we can supply for a small fee), an apron, a large pan, flat bottomed spoon and a smile, we'll sort the rest!! (sugar, vinegar, spices, jars etc all included).
£25 per person, to be paid in advance. Please advise of any dietary requirements,
Caroline & David joined our first course and are now embracing their new life in Cognac, France, they are embracing preserving too "....and we're delighted to report another triumph. The plate of knowledge worked it's magic again so we had a good set and and a tasty blend of sweetness from the sugar, sharpness fro the oranges and lemon juice and the brandy adds warmth and a little character (kick) to the marmalade.

Angharad is a multi award winning preserver, with bags of enthusiasm and a willingness to share her knowledge and spread the jam love. She has spent time with Christine Ferber, the greatest jam maker in the world and ran preserving courses in Cameroon earlier this year.
