Shya grew up in the kitchen alongside her mother and grandmother (Nani Maa) in Pakistan. With both sides of her family from Punjab, she was trained at home by her Mama, mastering traditional Punjabi family recipes that have been handed down through generations.
This love for food grew as she explored other regional cooking traditions and techniques through her travels and loves nothing more than cooking for large family gatherings and community events. When Shya is asked about her background, she describes herself as a devoted home cook with a profound love for home-cooked meals.
Duckling Barn is full of dogs, chickens, shetland ponies, donkeys and wild ducks. You are very welcome to meet the animals, we will escort you as they all have teeth and beaks xxxxx
