Apple and Ale Chutney
Our Apple and Ale Chutney is full of apples, dried fruit & great local ale. We steep the dried fruit overnight in local ale before cooking slowly with apples, onions and spices. We love it with a chunk of itchy cheddar cheese & crusty bread, use as a base layer for a Welsh rarebit or add a spoonful to a field Mushroom & Cheese Burger.

Ingredients: Apples 24%, dried fruits - raisins, dates & apricots (sulphur dioxide), sultanas, currants, onions, Aspall’s cider vinegar, ale 10% (barley, hops & yeast),
brown sugar, lemon juice & spices.
